The burgers here are highly praised for their taste and affordability. On average, you can expect to pay between $10-$11 for a full combo, which includes a juicy hamburger, a side of crispy, thick-cut fries, and a refreshing soda. The large fries, in particular, stand out and are a hit with many customers who prefer them over the thinner fries offered by other fast-food chains like McDonald's or In-N-Out.
Though the majority of reviews praise the quality of the food, there are occasional comments about the burger being slightly cold at times. However, this minor critique does not overshadow the overall quality of the food and service. The restaurant provides ample seating for those who choose to dine in, making it a comfortable place to enjoy your meal on-site.
Another feature that sets Lucky Star Burgers apart is the exceptional service. Customers appreciate the friendly and attentive staff, which adds to the overall positive experience. The restaurant is also known for its family-friendly meals, with some options like a family pack that offers a hearty meal for everyone.
While the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, it’s worth noting that some patrons have mentioned that it can be a bit on the pricier side if you're feeding a group, especially with items like chili fries or large family packs. Despite this, the quality of food and the welcoming atmosphere make it a popular choice for burger lovers in the area.
If you're looking for a satisfying burger experience with excellent service, Lucky Star Burgers is definitely worth a visit.
Lucky Star Burgers Reviews
Great food and great service. Definitely the best around the Baldwin park/West Covina area
Food was great, services was great too, just a bit pricey,$70 for a family pack and chilli fries
Honestly, when it comes to 'fast food', this burger stand is far better than most big national brands found here in L.A., I'd even say, better than most national chain restaurants burgers too, at least for value. For a double cheeseburger combo, and for the price, it cannot be beat. Char flavor, lots of meat & cheese, big sesame bun, and good dressing. Then a soda and plenty of fries... enough for two, easily. Then there are plenty of menu choices to choose from, So, if you have a picky eater and they're not interested in a burger, I am pretty sure there's something here for everyone. It is not an overly busy place, and there is indoor and outdoor seating; often clean. Parking is generally easy, and if the parking is full next to the burger stand, there's plenty of parking space (a lot) behind the stand. Oh, and by the way, the staff is pretty friendly too.
Amazing customer service Food is always fresh and there orange bang is underrated Chorizo plate is my go too and if not there breakfast plate dont disappoint
This is a decent burger spot if you're looking for a quick bite. For the burgers, prices are reasonable. On average, $10-$11 for a full combo with a hamburger, fries, and soda. Not too bad. The fries they have are the big fat fries. I usually prefer these type of fries over thin fries like McDonald's or In-N-Out. Overall, pretty good burgers and fries. The only critique I have is that my burger was cold. I feel like the meat should have been cooked longer to make it fully warm. Other than that, I didn't have a problem with anything else. There's enough seating available if you choose to dine there. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area and craving a burger.
